we'll remove it from SLE then
what does that mean no longer maintained as package? What to tell 15.0 users that update to 15.1 and see the package they have been using gone?
It's not maintained upstream nor downstream.
What is the correct way to remove a package from Leap? Would we need to wait until Leap 16?
On the topic of users: to be honest, its inclusion into Leap was a mistake on my part (I believe it was auto-pulled into Leap from Factory in 15.0) -- and as far as I'm aware I've been the only user of this package. As it turns out the actual project doesn't work properly either (it segfaults on a bunch of encoding strings -- which I discovered after Factory inclusion but didn't think to remove it).
It should also be noted the package is no longer present in Factory.
