regarding the contact email address, I kinda like that we have a owner for the particular contrib. we could move this to the "contribs" file however and specify it for others as well. certainly nicer than a long "ifelse"-snake in the Images file.
On the other uboot-*in comment. sorry I didn't review this in detail, I took it as "affects contrib only". I certainly should have paid more attention to your comments before accepting, sorry!
regarding uboot-image-setup.in: can't we do most of the script by using distroboot in U-Boot?

I am working to change that if-else structure to addapt to current structure i add this task to the top of my todo list to fix as soon as posible
