I wonder if rather than removing this alltogether there should be a %if %{ſsuse_version} conditional instead so that when this package sources are built for older distributions, the behavior doesn't change.
that would mean that we would have to move away from autopatch. Also since this modifies the config file this shouldn't break existing setups, unless the users choses to use the new config file, which is always a bit risky. So I would prefer to not place it in a %if statement
