This package is intended to provide multiple SDR frontends support for gqrx software. It is made to work with GNU Radio libraries from standard openSUSE repositories for Leap 15.2...15.4 (GR 3.8) and for Tumbleweed (GR 3.10 now).
This requires downgrading several packages in hardware:sdr, including gnuradio, gr-iqbal and some GR modules. The hardware:sdr repository is much more a development repository testing the latest software releases before submiting them to mainstream openSUSE. Unfortunately gqrx never got there as gnuradio did.

wouldn't it make sense to make the changes in hardware:sdr and then create a link to this package ?
