vhostmd provides a "metrics communication channel" between a host and
its hosted virtual machines, allowing limited introspection of host
resource usage from within virtual machines

Libvirt is a C toolkit to interact with the virtualization
capabilities of Linux. Virtualization of the Linux Operating System means
the ability to run multiple instances of Operating Systems concurrently
on a single hardware system where the basic resources are driven by a
Linux instance. The library aims to provide long term stable C API
to interact with Linux virtualization technologies.

Libvirt-cim is a CMPI CIM provider that implements the DMTF SVPC
virtualization model. The goal is to support most of the features
exported by libvirt itself, enabling management of multiple platforms
with a single provider.

The Sys::Virt module provides a Perl XS binding to the libvirt virtual
machine management APIs. This allows machines running within arbitrary
virtualization containers to be managed with a consistent API.

sanlock is a shared disk lock manager that uses disk paxos to manage leases on shared storage. Hosts connected to a common SAN can use this to synchronize their access to the shared disks.

Stable branch of the Chef 10 packages.

Chef is an open source systems integration framework built to bring the benefits of configuration management to your entire infrastructure. You write source code to describe how you want each part of your infrastructure to be built, then apply those descriptions to your servers. The result is a fully automated infrastructure: when a new server comes on line, the only thing you have to do is tell Chef what role it should play in your architecture.

mdevctl is a utility for managing and persisting devices in the mediated device framework of the Linux kernel. Mediated devices are sub-devices of a parent device (e.g. a vGPU) which can be dynamically created and potentially used by drivers like vfio-mdev for assignment to virtual machines.

QEMU is a quick emulator, using dynamic translation (TCG). In support of virtualization, it also serves as a frontend for KVM and as a backend for Xen device emulation.

Note that this package is produced using a Git based workflow. Please refer to README.PACKAGING before making modifications.
