This package contains a large variety of low-level system utilities that are necessary for a Linux system to function. It contains the mount program, the fdisk configuration tool, and more.

If your library is a basic building block (-> subject to interpretation) and topically does not fit into another project, this may be the place for it.

Some rules..

1. We only build against the standard repositories for the distros
2. Users only get access to their packages. We should keep the number of project maintainers as small as possible

The Parsing Expression Grammar Template Library (PEGTL) is a C++0x library for creating parsers according to a Parsing Expression Grammar (PEG). Grammars are embedded as regular C++ code, and consist of template hierarchies of classes. These hierarchies naturally correspond to the inductive definition of PEGs. The library extends on the subject of PEGs with new expression types, actions that can be attached to grammar rules, and mechanisms to ensure helpful diagnostics in case of parsing errors.

American fuzzy lop is a security-oriented fuzzer that employs a novel type of compile-time instrumentation and genetic algorithms to automatically discover clean, interesting test cases that trigger new internal states in the targeted binary. This substantially improves the functional coverage for the fuzzed code. The compact synthesized corpora produced by the tool are also useful for seeding other, more labor- or resource-intensive testing regimes down the road.

Compared to other instrumented fuzzers, afl-fuzz is designed to be practical: it has modest performance overhead, uses a variety of highly effective fuzzing strategies and effort minimization tricks, requires essentially no configuration, and seamlessly handles complex, real-world use cases - say, common image parsing or file compression libraries.

Rekor's goals are to provide an immutable tamper resistant ledger of metadata generated within a software projects supply chain. Rekor will enable software maintainers and build systems to record signed metadata to an immutable record. Other parties can then query said metadata to enable them to make informed decisions on trust and non-repudiation of an object's lifecycle. For more details visit the sigstore website

The Rekor project provides a restful API based server for validation and a transparency log for storage. A CLI application is available to make and verify entries, query the transparency log for inclusion proof, integrity verification of the transparency log or retrieval of entries by either public key or artifact.

Rekor fulfils the signature transparency role of sigstore's software signing infrastructure. However, Rekor can be run on its own and is designed to be extensible to working with different manifest schemas and PKI tooling.
