A benchmark for X11.

XBase DBMS is a C++ library that supports access to XBase type data
files and indexes (.dbf and related files, for example). It provides
record level access to these files.

Bugowner

Xcb provides access to the cut buffers built into every X server. It
allows the buffers to be manipulated either via the command line or
with the mouse in a point and click manner. The buffers can be used as
holding pens to store and retrieve arbitrary data fragments, so any
number of different pieces of data can be saved and recalled later. The
program is designed primarily for use with textual data.

This package contains a library for uniform presentation of fvwm95
programs.

Bugowner

This package contains a Perl script which converts XDG menus to formats
used by WindowMaker and other window managers.

Bugowner

Xengine displays a reciprocating engine in a window and is a benchmark
for X.

xless 1.7 -- the well-known text browser. Necessary for displaying the
various HOWTOs.

The game is a two-player game. Player 1 chooses one of the 16 pieces.
Player 2 then places this piece on one of the 16 squares of the board
and chooses a piece out of the remaining 15 pieces which he gives to
player 1, who places this piece on one of the remaining 15 squares on
the board, etc...

Xquarto supports three different player combinations: human vs
computer, computer vs human and human vs human (possibly through the
local network in the latter case). The default combination is human vs
computer, i.e. the human player starts the game against the computer.
This can be changed by clicking on the "Actions" menu (see below for
more details).

Stereograph is a stereogram generator. In detail it is a single image
stereogram (SIS) generator. That's a program that produces
two-dimensional images that seem to be three-dimensional (surely you
know the famous works of "The Magic Eye", Stereograph produces the same
output). You do _not_ need any pair of colored spectacles to regard
them - everyone can learn it.

Xtermset allows you to change the characteristics of an xterm window
from the command line. Most options have the same names as those that
you would give an xterm at startup.

Bugowner

A raytracer that cooperates well with the Blender package.

Bugowner

A tool for configuration of the Iomega ZIP and JAZ drives. Automatic
eject and write protection (password too) can be configured.

Zisofs-tools, in conjunction with a zisofs-enabled system, allows the
creation of an iso9660 filesystem that can be decompressed "live" on a
file-by-file basis, while still being readable by systems without
zisofs support. This package contains the tools necessary to create
such a filesystem and read compressed files on a system without zisofs
support.

Album Shaper strives to be the most friendly, easy-to-use, open source
application for organizing, annotating, framing, enhancing, stylizing,
and sharing your digital photos. Album Shaper embraces open formats
like XML, JPEG, and XSLT, while supporting Windows, Mac OS X, and Unix
users who speak a multitude of languages around the world.

babl is a dynamic, any to any, pixel format translation library.

It allows converting between different methods of storing pixels known
as pixel formats that have with different bitdepths and other data
representations, color models and component permutations.

A vocabulary to formulate new pixel formats from existing primitives is
provided as well as the framework to add new color models and data
types.

This is an enhanced version of the CMU BOOTP server, which was derived
from the original BOOTP server created by Bill Croft at Stanford. This
version merges all the enhancements and bug fixes from the NetBSD,
Columbia, and other versions.

This package copies these games into /usr/games: arithmetic, atc,
backgammon, battlestar, bcd, bog, caesar, canfield, cfscores, cribbage,
factor, fish, fortune, hangman, hunt, mille, monop, morse, number,
paranoia, pom, ppt, primes, rain, robots, sail, snake, snscore,
teachgammon, trek, wargames, worm, worms, and wump.

This CDDA reader distribution ('cdparanoia') reads audio from the
CD-ROM directly as data and writes the data to a file or pipe as .wav,
.aifc, or raw 16-bit linear PCM.

This is a beta release. See http://www.xiph.org/paranoia/.

CDRDAO creates CD-Rs in disk-at-once (DAO) mode driven by a description
file called a toc file. In DAO mode, it is possible to create
nonstandard track pregaps that have lengths other than 2 seconds and
contain nonzero audio data. This is useful for dividing live recordings
into tracks where 2 second gaps would be irritating.

Command line tools for raw digital photo decoding and processing.

DejaGnu is a framework for testing other programs. Its purpose is to
provide a single front-end for all tests. Beyond this, DejaGnu offers
several advantages for testing:

1. The flexibility and consistency of the DejaGnu framework make it
easy to write tests for any program.

1. DejaGnu provides a layer of abstraction that allows you to write
tests that are portable to any host or target where a program
must be tested. For instance, a test for GDB can run (from any
Unix-based host) on any target architecture that DejaGnu
supports.

1. All tests have the same output format. This makes it easy to
integrate testing into other software development processes.
DejaGnu's output is designed to be parsed by other filtering
scripts and it is also human-readable.

DejaGnu is written in expect, which in turn uses "Tcl"--Tool command
language.

Running tests requires two things: the testing framework and the test
suites themselves.

The dump package contains both dump and restore. Dump examines files
in a file system, determines which ones need to be backed up, and
copies those files to a specified disk, tape, or other storage medium.
The restore command performs the inverse function of dump. It can
restore a full backup of a file system.

The dvd+rw-tools collection of tools makes it possible to burn images to
Blu-ray and DVD+-RW/+-R media.

Exif is a small command line utility to show and change EXIF
information hidden in JPEG files. It demonstrate the power of libexif
library.

Contains libf2c.so.0.11, ported by Rob Hooft. This package uses an
'f77' script that hides the C translation process from the user.
