pfstmo package contains the implementation of state-of-the-art tone
mapping operators. The motivation here is to provide an implementation
of tone mapping operators suitable for convenient processing of both
static images and animations.

pfstools package is a set of command line (and one GUI) programs for
reading, writing, manipulating and viewing high-dynamic range (HDR)
images and video frames. All programs in the package exchange data
using a simple generic file format (pfs) for HDR data. The concept of
the pfstools is similar to netpbm package for low-dynamic range images.

Rarpd listens on the Ethernet for broadcast packets asking for reverse
address resolution. These packets are sent by hosts at boot time to
find out their IP addresses.

The heXoNet RFB Software package includes many different projects. The
goal of this package is to provide a comprehensive collection of
rfb-enabled tools and applications. One application, x0rfbserver, was,
and maybe still is, the only complete remote control solution for the X
Window System.

A game like "Boulderdash" (C 64) or "Emerald Mine" (Amiga). Included
are many levels known from the games "Boulderdash", "Emerald Mine",
"Sokoban", "Supaplex" and "DX-Boulderdash", level elements for "Diamond
Caves II" style games and a lot of new levels designed by other
players.

remote machines, to log in to other machines, and to copy files between

S-Lang is a multi-platform programming library designed to allow a developer to
create robust multi-platform software. It provides facilities required by
interactive applications such as display/screen management, keyboard input,
keymaps etc. Another major feature of the library is the interpreter for the
S-Lang extension language which can be embedded into an application to make it
extensible. With slsh a standalone interpreter is available as well.

SLRN is a powerful, easy to use, and threaded Internet newsreader. It
is highly customizable, permitting redefinition of keys and including a
sophisticated macro language for further customization.

Suck is a program used to grab news from a remote NNTP news server and
bring it to a local machine, without having the remote server do
anything special.

Tetrinetx-qirc1.40c with Async DNS support for high productivity

This is a collection of tools and scripts that allow to convert True
Type Fonts (as used by MS Wind*ws) to be converted to Postscript Type 1
fonts, so they can be used in X11 and Ghostscript.

Application to read and manipulate raw images from digital cameras. It
takes care of the color management, handles the Nikon curve formats and
has an editor for the tone curves. For batch processing of images you
can use the command-line.

TK-Interface for cron and at.

WDM is a modification and enhancement of X11's XDM that provides a more
flexible login panel while maintaining the basic XDM code to interface
with pam and other packages.

Window Maker is a colorful and flexible window manager and
the designated successor of AfterStep. For more details, check

Wipe is a tool that attempts to effectively degauses the surface of
a hard disk, making it virtually impossible to retrieve the data
that was stored on it. This tool is designed to make sure secure
data that is erased from a hard drive is unrecoverable.

Wmakerconf is a GTK+ based configuration tool for Window Maker.

WV is a program that can understand the Microsoft Word 8 binary file
format (Office97). It currently converts Word into HTML, which can then
be read with a web browser.

The wv2 library is used to import Microsoft Word documents in koffice
for example.

x2x allows the keyboard and mouse on one ("from") X Window System
display to be used to control another ("to") X Window System display.

XaoS is a fast portable real-time interactive fractal zoomer. It
displays the Mandelbrot set (among other escape time fractals) and
allows you to zoom smoothly into the fractal. Various coloring modes
are provided for both the points inside and outside the selected set.
In addition, switching between Julia and Mandelbrot fractal types and
displaying planes is provided.
