Involved Projects and Packages
Maintainer

This project provides STABLE otrs packages.

Therefore Upcoming packages for FACTORY.

Maintainer Bugowner

This project provides actual 5.x OTRS packages. We test it here first.
They may be broken at any time.

So use them at your own risk. :)

If your software speaks SS7, ISDN, IAX, RTP, SRTP, Jingle, H.323, H.324, H.325, MGCP or SIP then it probably belongs in here.

CallWeaver is an Open Source PBX and telephony development platform that can both replace a conventional PBX and act as a platform for developing custom telephony applications for delivering dynamic content over a telephone similarly to how one can deliver dynamic content through a web browser using CGI and a web server.

CallWeaver talks to a variety of telephony hardware including BRI, PRI, POTS, Bluetooth headsets and IP telephony clients using SIP and IAX protocols protocols

This package is based on the package 'check' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.

Check is a unit test framework for C. It features a simple interface
for defining unit tests, putting little in the way of the developer.
Tests are run in a separate address space, so Check can catch both
assertion failures and code errors that cause segmentation faults or
other signals. The output from unit tests can be used within source
code editors and IDEs.

This package contains configuration files, header files, and setup
tools needed for the zapata telephony interface drivers.

See /usr/share/doc/packages/dahdi/README for a list of supported
hardware.

Flite (festival-lite) is a small, fast run-time speech synthesis engine
developed at CMU and primarily designed for small embedded machines and/or
large servers. Flite is designed as an alternative synthesis engine to
Festival for voices built using the FestVox suite of voice building tools.

The H323plus project aims to create a full featured, interoperable, and open source implementation of the ITU H.323 teleconferencing protocol that can be used by personal developers and commercial users without charge.

Commercial and private use of the H323plus code, including use in commercial products and resale, is encouraged through use of the MPL (Mozilla Public license).

This package is based on the package 'ilbc' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.

iLBC (internet Low Bitrate Codec) is a FREE speech codec suitable for robust voice communication over IP. The codec is designed for narrow band speech and results in a payload bit rate of 13.33 kbit/s with an encoding frame length of 30 ms and 15.20 kbps with an encoding length of 20 ms. The iLBC codec enables graceful speech quality degradation in the case of lost frames, which occurs in connection with lost or delayed IP packets.

OSSP js is a stand-alone distribution of the JavaScript (JS)
programming language reference implementation from Mozilla -- aka
"JSRef" or "SpiderMonkey". This distribution provides a smart,
stand-alone and portable distribution of Mozilla JavaScript through a
build environment based on GNU autoconf, GNU libtool and GNU shtool,
including support for easy JavaScript build-time feature set selection
(ECMA-3, JS-1.5, JS-1.6), optional CLI line editing support, optional
"stdio" based File object support and JS/Perl bindings. Additionally,
the C API in "libjs" contains both the JavaScript engine and the
required Sun math library ("fdlibm") and with all internal symbols
carefully protected under the "js" namespace. Finally, a js-config(1)
utility and a pkg-config(1) specification is provided to allow
applications to easily build with the JavaScript C API.

Kamailio (former OpenSER) is a mature and flexible open source SIP server (RFC3261). It can be used on systems with limited resources as well as on carrier grade servers, scaling to up to thousands call setups per second. It is written in pure C for Unix/Linux-like systems with architecture specific optimizations to offer high performances. It is customizable, being able to feature as fast load balancer; SIP server flavours: registrar, location server, proxy server, redirect server; enum, UDP, TCP, TLS and SCTP; IPv6; VoIP; video and instant messaging; SIMPLE presence and XCAP server; embedded MSRP relay; load balancer; lead cost routing; WebSockets and WebRTC; SNMP monitoring; DoS detection.

Contains libraries and binaries for a GSM speech compressor. libgsm contains a standard implementation of the European GSM 06.10 provisional standard for full-rate speech transcoding, prI-ETS 300 036,
which uses RPE/LTP (residual pulse excitation/long term prediction) coding at 13 kbit/s.

GSM 06.10 compresses frames of 160 13-bit samples (8 kHz sampling rate, which is a frame rate of 50 Hz) into 260 bits. For compatibility with typical UNIX applications, our implementation turns frames of 160 16-bit linear samples into 33-byte frames (1650 Bytes/s). The quality of the algorithm is good enough for reliable speaker recognition. Even music often survives transcoding in recognizable form (given the bandwidth limitations of 8 kHz sampling rate).

The interfaces offered are a front-end modeled after compress(1) and a library API. Compression and decompression run faster than real-time on most SPARC stations. The implementation has been verified against the ETSI standard test patterns.

This package is based on the package 'libosip2' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.

This is the GNU oSIP library. It has been designed to provide the
Internet community with a simple way to support the Session Initiation
Protocol. SIP is described in the RFC 3261, which is available at
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3261.txt.

Newt is a programming library for color text-mode widget-based user interfaces. Newt can be used to add stacked windows, entry widgets,
check boxes, radio buttons, labels, plain text fields, scrollbars, etc., to text mode user interfaces.

This package also contains the shared library needed by programs built with newt, as well as a Dialog replacement called whiptail.

OpenDBX is an extremely lightweight but extensible C library for accessing
databases with a single API. It provides a clean and simple interface across
all supported databases that leads to an elegant code design automatically.
Currently MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite are supported and backends for more
native database APIs can be written easily. If you want your application to
support different databases with little effort, this is definitively the right
thing for you!
