Cyrus is a highly scalable enterprise mail system designed for use in
enterprise environments of various sizes using standards based
technologies. Cyrus technologies scale from independent use in email
departments to a system centrally managed in a large enterprise.

This is the Cyrus SASL API. It can be used on the client or server side
to provide authentication. See RFC 2222 for more information.

This daemon is required when using cyrus-sasl in server software that
should authenticate with PAM, for example.

Assorted C utility libraries: libcollection, libdhash, libini_config,
librefarray and libpath_utils.

DRAC is a daemon that dynamically updates a relay authorization map for
sendmail. It provides a way to allow legitimate users to relay mail
through an SMTP server, while still preventing others from using it as
a spam relay. User's IP addresses are added to the map immediately
after they have authenticated to the POP or IMAP server.

C++ API for LDAPv3.

Documentation is in /usr/share/doc/packages/ldapcpplib/srcdoc.

The Berkeley DB Database is a programmatic toolkit that provides
database support for applications.

This package contains the necessary runtime libraries.

These are the Java bindings for the Berkeley DB. They are needed for
the Java support of db and dbxml.

This package provides a Name Service Switch module that allows your
LDAP server to provide user account, group, host name, alias, netgroup,
and basically any other information that you would normally get from
/etc flat files or NIS. Nss-ldapd is a fork of the nss_ldap package by
PADL Software Pty Ltd.. implementing some structural design changes
that were needed to fix some issues of the original design.

Nss_ldap is a glibc NSS module that allows X.500 and LDAP directory
servers to be used as a primary source of aliases, ethers, groups,
hosts, networks, protocol, users, RPCs, services, and shadow passwords
(instead of or in addition to using flat files or NIS).

The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is used to access
online directory services. It runs directly over TCP and can be used to
access a stand-alone LDAP directory service or to access a directory
service that has an X.500 back-end.

This package contains the OpenLDAP client utilities.

This is a PAM Module that handles LDAP. The advantages of this pecular
version are:

Possibility to change LDAP passwords in the directory

Compatibility with the nss_ldap configuration file format

This module provides functions to generate LM/NT hashes as used by
Samba

Provides a set of daemons to manage access to remote directories and
authentication mechanisms. It provides an NSS and PAM interface toward
the system and a pluggable backend system to connect to multiple different
account sources. It is also the basis to provide client auditing and policy
services for projects like FreeIPA.
