The upstream maintainer of iotop has vanished unfortunately, but Paul Wise has been continuously collecting and producing patches. However, Paul seems not to be able to generate releases. So it seems best to follow several other distributions and ship the latest git checkout instead of the old release 0.6. With the recent kernel changes concerning kernel.task_delayacct (CONFIG_TASK_DELAY_ACCT), iotop is barely usable anymore, so some action is really needed. I would suggest switching to the latest git checkout instead of piling patch over patch. - Update to head checkout a14256a: * solves several UTF-8 issues * switches to python3 * deal with kernel.task_delayacct (CONFIG_TASK_DELAY_ACCT) - remove obsolete patches: * iotop-0.6-ignore-invalid-lines-in-proc-status.patch * iotop-0.6-python3-header.patch * iotop-0.6-python3_build.patch * iotop-0.60-fix-proc-status-split.patch - remove patch iotop-0.6-noendcurses.patch, is now handled by issuing sys.exit(1). - remove "BuildArch: noarch" as package is architecture dependent
