The Common UNIX Printing System
The Common UNIX Printing System (CUPS) is the
standards-based, open source printing system.

CUPS >= 1.6 has major incompatible changes
compared to CUPS 1.5.
After a version upgrade to CUPS >= 1.6
printing in the network would no longer
work as it did up to CUPS 1.5.
