A simple and lightweight app for running Windows games using UMU-Launcher

Edit Package faugus-launcher
https://github.com/Faugus/faugus-launcher

Faugus Launcher is a simple and lightweight application designed for running games on Linux using UMU-Launcher, supporting both native Linux games and Windows games via Proton.
It is free and open-source software licensed under the MIT License.
The launcher provides features such as prefix management, shortcut management for Steam, and integrated tools like Winetricks for installing dependencies, Winecfg for configuring Wine, MangoHud for performance monitoring, Feral GameMode for system performance tweaks, and support for disabling Hidraw to resolve controller issues.
Additional functionalities include GE-Proton Manager for downloading and removing GE-Proton builds, experimental support for Wine Wayland drivers and HDR, and the ability to run additional applications alongside games, such as Cheat Engine or trainers.

Issue: python-vdf Package

I see the problem now — the official python-vdf package from games:tools is broken.

Official package (broken): https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/games:tools/python-vdf

Solution: Use Development Repository

You can install the working module from my development repository instead. Once installed, everything should work correctly.

Development repo (working): https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:itachi_re:devel/python-vdf

Next Steps

  1. Install python-vdf from the development repository above
  2. Retry the process
  3. It should work as expected this time

Thank you for your time and help! :)

I've added your python-vdf repo - but with "install pyhton-vdf" its getting me error that its "not found". It is actually called "python313-vdf" - was a bit confused there.

Also, I had to manual add umu-launcher from "build.opensuse.org/package/show/games/umu-launcher".

But now its working just fine - thanks again! And sorry for being stupid - still kinda new to Linux overall and still learning.

Cheers Jeyh
