community-driven fork of qmail
It's not qmail. It's also not netqmail.
We all use email, so we all use email servers. notqmail is software for running an email server. Someday, if we do a good job, some of the many articles about how and why to run your own will recommend notqmail.
notqmail is a community-driven fork of qmail, beginning where netqmail left off: providing stable, compatible, small releases to which existing qmail users can safely update. notqmail also aims higher: developing an extensible, easily packaged, and increasingly useful modern mail server.

- Refactored build files - package the systemd unit file notqmail.service in debian builds exactly like the rpm builds - run alternatives or update-alternatives command to have notqmail as an alternative mta. This will create link to /var/qmail/bin/sendmail in /usr/lib and /usr/sbin - Create /var/qmail/control/me if not present. This allows you to start sending mail righ away after installing notqmail - Create alias for root, mailer-daemon and postmaster. This allows you to send mails to root right away after installing notqmail. mails from cron, etc work after this change.
