An MS Windows emulator

An MS Windows emulator, consisting of both runtime and also source
compatibility functions. You can run your MS executables with it, and
you can write your Windows programs under Linux and link against the
WINE libraries.

It is not necessary to have a Windows installation to run WINE.

Please have a look at /usr/share/doc/packages/wine/README.SuSE. There
is more documentation available in that directory. Read 'man wine' for
further information.

You can invoke wine by entering: 'wine program.exe' wine can be
configured by running 'winecfg'.

This package contains some fixes for supporting rotated gdi drawings. See the related patches for more informations.

Hello. What are these patches doing? I just have an interest.

Take a look on my repository: home:linux4humans:wine-staging/wine. There are two changes between Emulators:Wine/wine - 1. Linking with libXi 1.3 to Raw Input support (but you need to add the repository in the system to install all the dependencies) 2. Add some Packman packages. Also there is wine-staging package. It also had an OpenCL linking. If YaST say "nothing provides libOpenCL.so.1(64-bit)" just ignore it.
