This project provides the latest TeXmacs from the svn repository allowing to enjoy newest features and bug fixes (but possibly regressions and new bugs too...).

The AppImage build lets you quickly run TeXmacs on any linux distro (just make the Appimage file executable).

Otherwise, you may add the repository corresponding to your distribution to your source list, and you will install receive updates as they appear. If you do not want to add the repository to your sources, you may still download and install the TeXmacs package manually, but in that case, depending on your distribution, you may also need to get and install the guile 1.8 packages from here (while guile is fetched automatically if you add the repository).

If you think a better packaging job could be done for your favorite linux distribution or if you want to add another distro supported by OBS, I would gladly give you access to this project to do so. Just login and "Request role addition" (and please be patient, I am not always very reactive).
