GUI utility to change the CPU frequency
Cpupower-gui is a graphical utility to change the CPU frequency.
This utility can change the operating frequency of the CPU for each core separately.
Additionally, the cpu governor can be changed.

This is an excellent addition to cpupower for the machine here. On a Lenovo M57p 9088 Intel Core2 Quad Q8400, Bios revision v. 2RKT64BUS you must be certain to: Set Max Ext CPUID =3 disabled in Bios. Otherwise cpupower-gui will detect only 2 cpus.
