Thank you for maintaining this package. I've noticed nu ships with some pre-existing plugins that many other distros include in their packages. I'm not yet confident in how rpm packaging works, but would it be possible for you to include those
nu_plugin_*
executables in thebin
folder alongside the mainnu
binary in a later release?Plugins are developed separately
I see, then they should be added as recommended by this package, since they're part of core and are developed and share releases with Nushell proper. The way other distros handle this is by passing
--workspace
tocargo build
, which will include the plugins to install alongsidenu
, which is why I added the comment here.
