@sbradnick as this description commented , that is the reason why we seen it fails to build in Backports's staging, because it pulls sles-release instead of openSUSE-release in Backports, xpra setup.py can not handle it to be openSUSE distribution after parse os-release file from sles-releasem therefore libexecdir handling has gone wrong. This is not a problem build towards Leap project, but indeed a problem on Backports project...
unless we can make xpra builds towards openSUSE:Backports:SLE-15-SP5, otherwise we have to move it to Leap then.
