It is great news that the driver is being maintained! But why disable the service?
1) Somehow I couldn't make it work in OBS. I couldn't get rid of _service:tar_scm:it87-1.0.48.tar file. 2) With mode="disabled" you run "osc service runall" when needed. This makes the source tarball a normal file in osc.
