Klaus,
Several questions I would like to have addresse prior to accept:
- Why do we decide to go with a git snapshot? 0.1.5 is not yet released.
As a consquence: the Source0: tag is 'invalid': the source does not exist and, as a result, it could not be sent to Factory if we wanted to.
The added patches are mentioned in .changes (which is good); the removed on is not mentioned though (bad).
- The patches miss their tag-line in the .spec file. Would be a nice-to have if this could be corrected
- The build does not work for Factory (due to missing deps): any plans on correcting this? (It does not work with 0.1.4 already.. but an update should likely bring an advantage.. not just a new version number).
Thanks a lot for looking into this matter.
Best regards,
DimStar / Dominique

- I used a git snapshot because pinpoint is 'sufficiently' near to 0.1.5 (configure.ac already has 0.1.5 inside) but I don't see upstream progress to actually make a release (last update 5 months ago)
- using 0.1.4 would be wrong, using 0.1.5pre makes trouble with RPM version comparison. So we're actually stuck.
- tag-lines: added, but they contain mostly redundant information
- removed patch: added to .changes
- I have no idea how to fix the dependency, this needs deep GNOME knowledge
