Perhaps at some point you could also take a look at how the following serious rpmlint errors can be solved:

These are static libraries, and, if the application can do without them, they should simply be removed. If not, you should probably split out a static-devel package and put the offending .a files into this. Worst case scenario: add an rpmlintrc file to suppress the error. See

Also, the check complains about files-duplicated. These are generally fixed by making use of fdupes; see here
