NIce ebuild all looks fine but 2 more points I see:
1) it could collide with mmdf.5 manpage too so maybe remove that one (line 118)
2) the strip workaround seems overabusive; how does it use strip; some variable? then it should be easy to use make STRIP=true ...

- remove mmdf.5 too and patch makefile not to use 'install -s'
instead of using PATH + dummy "strip" hack
- please tell me if I still missed anything and what you think
about the toggle_rot_key and unread-not-lines patches
