The libcdio dependency might be completely unnecessary because that libcdio is pulled in by python-pycdio (according to upstream, there is version dependency on <= 0.94 but as long as people don't try to build on outdated systems, I guess that is fine).

libsndfile1 is probably necessary, though.

Or do I just need to write those deps differently?

If package links to shared object it gets automatically populated with the information, thus nothing needs to be put in the .spec file.

But what you need to do is to add changelog using "osc vc"
