Still fails randomly to build, please fix it!
Mame is a continuously problematic build due to the amount of resources it consumes - over 30GB of disk space and over 8GB of ram.
I have placed even higher constraints on it to see if workers chosen will alleviate this issue. But this tends to take resources away from other more important jobs.
Its a race condition, incomplete dependencies in the makefile.
Okay... perhaps you can fix it since you know what it is? I have very limited time to do this (and this MR is from another contributor).
If I understand correctly, you need to report about it in the upstream and set out in detail the problem, and maybe some ways to solve it, if you understand them. mame is too complicated a project to completely figure out on its own, especially the resulting patch may need to be reviewed with every update.
Re race condition: Please show a build log excerpt where it fails (currently it looks green), if you have one. Maybe I can spot something.
I have added a patch for this some time ago. Unfortunately, upstream ignores the problem.
