how long will it take for this request to get accepted since i need the double precision build for some applications
legal review always is a bottleneck :/
Especially when the license declaration in the spec and the actual licence in the tarball seems wildly different
For example - Spec mentions LGPL-2.1-or-later or BSD-3-Clause or Zlib
But files
are all GPL-3.0+
Therefore, I don't see how this will pass legal review while this incongruity exists
According to their Readme.md it's LGPL-2.1-or-later or BSD-style License
@seil0
should i just create a new submit to games/ode with the license changes?
Maybe ask them to clarify what they use. They should update their readme or source files.
Well after some digging in the repo, i think it's clear the use BSD-3-Clause OR LGPL-2.1-or-later. libccd or ou are libraries inside the repo and have these licenses too. They clearly state it on there website too.
