I assume this will need to be forward-ported to KUE? I'm not sure it would work there properly due to the versioning, though.

Well, the main purpose is to force a rebuild of kio-gdrive in Factory whenever libkgapi is updated (as the rebuilds don't happen automatically). That's not really necessary in KUE, I think.
Although, I don't see a reason at the moment why the %requires_eq should not work in KUE... Of course it will have less effect as there could be ABI changes without a change to the version (that's not worse than now though).

Hm, seems I slightly misremembered the versioning scheme in KUA though.
As it is, this probably won't make sense in KUE I think.
It would actually be too strict, and I'm not sure if in the current repo setup kio-gdrive will get rebuilt in KUE if libkgapi in KUA is updated...

But to be clear: I still think it makes good sense in KDE:Extra and Factory/Tumbleweed.

I just checked the job history in KUE though, and it seems it does get rebuilt a lot (i.e. apparently whenever libkgapi or some other dependency is updated).
So I suppose we could add it there too.

Worth trying. Let's see then if repo-checker complains.
