I think this is fixed already by providing META files in ocaml itself, rev 160:

I wasn't aware of that. I'm going to test it with the haxe 4.0.0 package, but got another error about xml-light (Unbound module Xml). I notice you changed the build system, and the package now provides ocaml(Xml_light__Xml), but I believe previously it was ocaml(Xml). Is it possible to provide the old ones?
Yes, this did indeed change. Even with '(wrapped false)' no 'ocaml(Xml)' exist. But I think dune should figure it out anyway.
Does the new haxe really rely on this old and unmaintained xml-light package?
Yes, haxe depends on it. Though there is no xml-light update for long, it is mostly because there is not much need to update. It's just a XML parser and the XML spec doesn't change.
