This is a huge request to get huge rights. We need time to decide. Sorry for waiting.

... but now I see the problem, thanks for the notice. Won't the problematic packages rebuild themselves after some time?

They may rebuild themselves after some time, but in the meantime my django packages in my projects are often stuck unless I branch many of the dependencies in this repo.

For some of them, I would have expected that they would have been rebuilt by now because of dep changes, but it seems that they are not getting rebuilt automatically. Yet I branch them and they build correctly. A superficial change to the spec would solve this. Anyways, they'll get fixed when I submit updates to them, which is the approach I am mostly taking to speed up the process.

I am a little surprised that these 111 packages are such a huge request. A decent proportion of them were contributed by myself, or rely on the packages which I contributed. Anyways, thanks for your consideration.

We decided we don't know you enough to grant you the rights for the whole project. Sorry.

(btw. simple "trigger rebuild" does not work, anyway)

After thinking about it (a way too much), let me thank you for your interest. Please, try to be very careful and conservative with your changes and let https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_Python be your friend most faithful.

Thank you
