Shouldn't that be %{name}-%{version} for the file? AC- is not much better than v.
I am not sure what do you mean. If you download
https://github.com/assaultcube/AC/archive/refs/tags/v%{version}.tar.gz
you will will get a
file named AC-%{version}.tar.gz. Is there a better way? Thank you.
The download here is a bit special. The #/whatever sets the name (because # is a local link in the URL and thus it's usually ignored, but the OBS service takes the last part after the / as name for file saving :-). So in many packages it's used for normalizing the file name.
The standard for such files is typically %{name}-%{version}, but using the (real) name of GitHub also makes sense. Choose yourself which you find better :-)
I would vote for the real name, if this is ok.
You're the maintainer :-)
Yep, by accident :-)
