You should probably wait before it finishes building on at least one target before accepting, because i messed with the tarball.

export PYTHONDONTWRITEBYTECODE=1
instead of deleting them afterwards. @dheidler Please add Fedora 36There wasn't only pycache, there were also .pyc file elsewhere that i don't know where they came from. See the diff.
I know, for 17.3.1 I had removed them with the trick mentioned above. But I had only put it in my bashrc not in create_tarball.sh
