Vlogger is a little piece of code to handle dealing with large amounts
of virtualhost logs. it takes piped output from apache, splits off
the first field, and writes the logs to logfiles in subdirectories. it uses a file handle
cache so it can't run out of file descriptors. it will also start a new logfile every night
at midnight, and maintain a symlink to the most recent file. for security, it can drop privileges
and do a chroot to the logs directory.
Apache2 Module that allows authentication of users trough dovecot authentication mechanisms. Currently supported mechanism is PLAINTEXT only as apache module currently supports Basic mechanism anyway in this stage.
GMapCatcher is an offline maps viewer. It downloads tiles automatically from many providers such as: CloudMade, OpenStreetMap, Yahoo Maps, Google Map. It displays them using a custom GUI. User can view the maps while offline. GMapCatcher doesn't depend on google-map's java scripts so it should work even if google changes them. It also provides a downloading tool.
Orfeo Toolbox (OTB) is distributed as an open source library of image processing algorithms. OTB is based on the medical image processing library ITK and offers particular functionalities for remote sensing image processing in general and for high spatial resolution images in particular. OTB is distributed under a free software license CeCILL (similar to GPL) to encourage contribution from users and to promote reproducible research. The library is intensively tested on several platforms as Linux, Unix and Windows. Most functionalities are also adapted to process huge images using streaming and multi-threading as often as possible.
Total Open Station (TOPS for friends) is a free software program for downloading and processing data from total station devices.
This is a task which is usually done by proprietary, dedicated and Windows™-only software, but TOPS is different by nature, because:
1. it is free software released under the GNU GPLv3 license;
2. it works on any operating system, including mobile platforms like OpenMoko;
3. it is designed to support as many devices and formats as possible, all within the same program, opposed to having one program per device.
Every model has its own quirks, but TOPS uses a modular structure and keeps the downloading of data logically separated from its processing, thus enabling exporting data to a variety of output formats, even at a later moment. Archiving of raw data is made easy by using plain text files.
Config::Grammar is a module to parse configuration files. The configuration
may consist of multiple-level sections with assignments and tabular data.
The parsed data will be returned as a hash containing the whole
configuration. Config::Grammar uses a grammar that is supplied upon
creation of a Config::Grammar object to parse the configuration file and
return helpful error messages in case of syntax errors. Using the *makepod*
method you can generate documentation of the configuration file format.
The *maketmpl* method can generate a template configuration file. If your
grammar contains regexp matches, the template will not be all that helpful
as Config::Grammar is not smart enough to give you sensible template data
based in regular expressions. The related function *maketmplmin* generates
a minimal configuration template without examples, regexps or comments and
thus allows an experienced user to fill in the configuration data more
Binwalk is a tool for searching a given binary image for embedded files and executable code.
Specifically, it is designed for identifying files and code embedded inside of firmware images. Binwalk uses the libmagic library, so it is compatible with magic signatures created for the Unix file utility.
Binwalk also includes a custom magic signature file which contains improved signatures for files that are commonly found in firmware images such as compressed/archived files, firmware headers, Linux kernels, bootloaders, filesystems, etc.

Gamera is a framework for building document analysis applications.
It is not a packaged document recognition system, but a toolkit for
building document image recognition systems.

The Colour Management System (CMS) Oyranos is intented to coordinate device specific informations (ICC colour profiles) and configure their system wide settings. Target is a predictable path for applications and users to match colours across devices.

EasyEffects is a limiter, compressor, reverberation, stereo equalizer and auto volume
effects for Pipewire and Pulseaudio applications.
The SMS server tools allow setting up a central SMS gateway. It
sends and receives SMS messages using a simple file-based
interface. It can accommodate up to 20,000 messages a month.
It supports an event-handler option that allows calling customized
programs or scripts after sending or receiving SMS messages.
The SMS Server Tools use one or more (max. 32) GSM modems to send and
receive SMS messages. Some modems may be equipped with SIM cards such
as Vodafone or Telmi ones. All messages are sorted in queues by the
provider. If one modem fails, it will be deactivated for one hour
before the software retries, while other modems run without any
restriction. The status information and alarms are logged with
