We can build ROS Humble core and base on opensuse 16.0 but anything past that requires older versions of gazebo and that just goes down a rabbit hole of incompatible older versions of packages.
The recommended version of Ignition Gazebo is Fortress

That version of Ignition/Gazebo requires Ogre 1.9.0 or Ogre2 2.2.0
Maybe we will build try later on opensuse 15.6
