This package is based on the package 'deltarpm' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.

This package contains tools to create and apply deltarpms. A deltarpm
contains the difference between an old and a new version of an RPM,
which makes it possible to recreate the new RPM from the deltarpm and
the old one. You do not need to have a copy of the old RPM, because
deltarpms can also work with installed RPMs.

FreeTDS is a free (open source) implementation of Sybase's db-lib,
ct-lib, and ODBC libraries. FreeTDS builds and runs on every flavor of
unix-like systems we've heard of, as well as Win32 (with or without
Cygwin), VMS, and Mac OS X. Failure to build on your system is probably
considered a bug. It has C language bindings, and works also with Perl
and PHP, among others.

FreeTDS is licensed under the GNU LGPL license. See COPYING.LIB for details.

Kismet is an 802.11 wireless network sniffer - this is different from a
normal network sniffer (such as Ethereal or tcpdump) because it
separates and identifies different wireless networks in the area.
Kismet works with any 802.11b wireless card which is capable of
reporting raw packets (rfmon support), which include any Prism2 based
card (Linksys, D-Link, Rangelan, and more), Cisco Aironet cards, and
Orinoco-based cards. Kismet also supports the WSP100 802.11b remote
sensor by Network Chemistry and is able to monitor 802.11a networks
with cards which use the ar5k chipset.

...)

- network interface lookup and manipulation

- IP tunnelling (BSD/Linux tun, Universal TUN/TAP device)

This package is based on the package 'lzma' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.

lzma is a very powerful program for compressing files.

* Average compression ratio of LZMA is about 30% better than that of
gzip, and 15% better than that of bzip2.

* Decompression speed is only little slower than that of gzip, being
two to five times faster than bzip2.

* In fast mode, compresses faster than bzip2 with a comparable
compression ratio.

* Achieving the best compression ratios takes four to even twelve
times longer than with bzip2. However. this doesn't affect
decompressing speed.

* Very similar command line interface than what gzip and bzip2 have.

This package is based on the package 'MozillaThunderbird' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.

need novell-nortelplugins package).

The NetworkManager will make use of the 'nvpn' tool(turnpike) to
communicate with 'racoon'(novell-ipsec-tools) for connecting to IPSec
based VPN Server.

This package is based on the package 'squid3' from project 'server:proxy'.

Squid is a caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. It reduces bandwidth and improves response times by caching and reusing frequently-requested web pages. Squid has extensive access controls and makes a great server accelerator.

Squid 3.0 represents a major rewrite of Squid and has a number of new
features.

The most important of these are: - Code converted to C++, with significant internal restructuring and rewrites.

- ICAP implementation (RFC 3507 and www.icap-forum.org)

- Edge Side Includes (ESI) implementation (www.esi.org)

Most user-facing changes are reflected in squid.conf.
