Fixed all points except one, the date. We're using this or similar update.sh for many other projects already. The checkout date is much more helpful for users that this git style date/id of KDE.

For the user the date information says: This is the state of the software of 2016-04-18. You're right, it is equal to 2015-08-21, but the 2016-04-18 is still better, as it tells the user, that there is no need to search for a more recent version. Using 2015-08-21 would not have same effect.

So I think the update.sh date-usage is more user friendly naming for these no-real-release projects.
