That leaves the description. Is this really still "...DO NOT use in production code...". Otherwise the description text should be replaced by something more meaningful. I think this text is outdated. No mention of it in the online documentation.

Yeah I know, but the perl website doesn't issue a similar warning and the fact that this warning is there for some time I'd say this is a "well, we either forgot or'll never remove this notice" state.
Ah in 2.096 the warning was removed with "No Changes, No Changes, add test" as only changes, so It is safe to remove it in 2.093 as well.
