This looks good in general, but I feel somewhat uncomfortable about not able to build on Leap 15.1 (meson >= 0.49.0).

Bjørn Lie's avatar

We are doing development for factory are we not? Backporting to Leap is a bonus when possible, but not mandatory.

@marxin For SDL 1.2, you removed the libSDLmain.a (which is an empty stub only needed on {Android, OS X, Windows} and not referenced in sdl-config --libs / pkgconfig), so why do you do it differently here?

Retrospectively, that seems to be due to a misjudgement of the build procedure on my side, back when SDL2.spec was initially added. I will take care of that concern and plan to remove SDL2main.a as proposed.

@coolo: this looks like origin-manager running under a different user.

Just took the patches, as the specfile cleanup is not needed in the maintenance incident.

With the move to GNU Health 3.4 in Factory and Leap 15.1, all maintenance for 3.2 was moved to Application:ERP:GNUHealth:3.2

mrdocs passed away.

Have you sent the fix to upstream too?

Same as SR#684582 to Leap 15.1.
Factory has a completely different version (5.15 vs. 5.12LTS) that already includes these fixes.

Quite sure they are all false positives :-) -- ffmpeg-4 provides what they need.

Tomáš Chvátal's avatar

we keep this thing to avoid crazy stuff directly on packman tbh

Bjørn Lie's avatar

We just dropped ffmpeg-2 from TW, so I assumed this would be fair game too.

Feel free to reject :-)

Bjørn Lie's avatar

And we had quite a few deps on ffmpeg-3 in TW oss until I went to war with them the last few weeks.

See DVD-Styler, aubio, wxsvg etc.

would you please review again and read the changes file carefully why I was in need to 'produce the changelog conflict'. I was just adding the missing 'boo#???????' for the CVE's. Thank you.
